

Allied Health Courses
Program Objective:
The Certified Allied Health Courses is designed to provide the students with the fundamental knowledge, skills, and abilities essential for the provision of basic care to residents in long-term facilities, hospitals, clinics, and the patient’s home. Students will learn to perform basic first aid, CPR, take vital signs, and follow infection control measures. Additionally, they will be able to apply proper body mechanics in bed making, lifting, and turning patients. The students are prepared to meet the requirements necessary to pass the State Exam and become a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Texas.

The following payment plans are available for each course offering and must be selected at the time of enrollment:
3 Week Course
$ 300 due at enrollment
$ 450 due weekly for weeks 2 and 3 of the course
Financing
$ 300 due at enrollment
$ 900 financed thru Flexxbuy
Proof of financing approval must be presented prior to the start of class. All fees must be paid prior to receiving certificate of course completion.
All forms of payment accepted except personal checks.
ADMISSION/ENROLLMENT POLICIES
Individuals applying for this course are required to:
Be at least 16 years of age (it's a MUST)
Submit a government-issued ID and social security card
Complete and pass a background check
Negative PPD skin test
Have no findings of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation in the state registry.
